We Are Mamma Dio's : Born from a rivalry. Built on family.
It all started with a petty rivalry.
During COVID, quarantine pizza nights with my
Italian mother-in-law turned into a feisty
competition over whose pizza was better.
That obsession became Mamma Dio's.
The name comes from "Oh Dio, Mamma!" — an
Italian-American expression of surprise and
excitement passed down in my wife's family.
It captures loud kitchens, playful arguments,
and that moment when something tastes so good
you can't help but shout about it.
Most of all, it means family.
Let us share ours with you.
The Hands Behind the Dough
Mamma Dio’s started as a love story — between two people, and between us and great pizza.
Justin is our pizzaiolo, the one behind the stone-fired oven, obsessing over fermentation times, sourcing the right Bianco DiNapoli tomatoes, and getting that perfect cup-and-char on every pepperoni. For him, pizza isn’t just food — it’s a craft.
Noelle is the heart and hustle behind the scenes — co-partner, marketing mastermind, and Justin’s biggest inspiration (the “Mamma” in Mamma Dio’s comes straight from her family). She’s the reason this dream became a real business, and the muse behind everything we do.
Together, we built Mamma Dio’s from a shared passion into something we get to share with you — one pie at a time.
